PCS-4050
SPEED DRY ALUMINUM
DESCRIPTION: A durable quick dry aluminum finish for moderately corrosive environments. PCS-4050 is designed to yield a dry spray within 15 feet of application. However, temperature and humidity can cause variations in distance.
USES: For overhead water storage tanks, bridges, building siding, overhead interiors of warehouses, etc.
SURFACE PREPARATION: Surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry and free of oil and/or grease. Previously painted surfaces: remove all loosely bonded paint with scraper and wire brush. Tightly bonded existing paint need not be removed. For best results, rusty surfaces should be cleaned and primed with an inhibitive primer.
MIXING: Stir thoroughly before use. Do not agitate at high speed or use paint shaker for longer than 5 minutes; this can result in loss of leafing and a dark appearance.
APPLICATION: Flush all equipment with Reducer #75 before use. Conventional spray: DeVilbiss P-MBC-510 gun, F tip and 704 air cap, 3/8" material hose, double regulated pressure pot with an oil and moisture separator. For airless spray, use a .013-.015 inch orifice and a 28:1 air motor. Conventional spray produces the best dry fall characteristics.
CLEAN-UP: REDUCER #86 or #75.
CAUTIONS: Flammable This product contains solvents. Keep away from heat and open flame. Keep containers closed. Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid prolonged breathing of vapor. Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin. If used in confined areas, observe the following precautions to prevent hazards of fire, or explosions, or damage to health: (1) circulate adequate fresh air continuously during application and drying; (2) use fresh air masks and explosion-proof equipment; (3) prohibit all flames, sparks, welding, and smoking.
If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. For eye contact, flush with plenty of water. In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
See material safety data sheets for full precautions prior to use.
